Where the evidence stands (2026-09-01). The descent is documented at every generation — see seeger_descent_chain.md for the evidence-rated chain and sources/SOURCES_DOSSIER.md for the downloaded documents; every card's panel now carries clickable links to its records. As of Sept. 2, 2026, every link is documented: Lena's own obituary (provided by the family from the Bemidji funeral home) names her parents "Jacob and Olivine (Roux) Folstrom" and calls her "a great grand daughter of Jacob Folstrom the first Swede in Minnesota" — the family's own memory matching the record-built chain exactly. Jacob's parents in Stockholm are unrecorded, and the Bonga line ends at Jean and Marie-Jeanne, freed at Mackinac ca. 1787: as far back as the paper goes. The portraits of George, of Margaret & Jacob together, and of White Cloud are period photographs via Wikimedia Commons (identifications theirs). No public photo of Nita survived online — hand me family photos and I'll add her, and anyone else, to the tree.
